Fellowship Curriculum

Southeast Asia Farm Animal Welfare Fellowship (SEAFAWF)

SEAFWF (Regional) and SEAFAWF (Indonesia)

(May 2024 to Sep 2024)

The curriculum covers the issues surrounding industrial animal agriculture, the landscape in Southeast Asia (including Indonesia) and interventions that can improve the food production system.

SEAFAWF (Regional) will be conducted in English, with participants from Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

SEAFAWF (Indonesia) will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia, with participants from Indonesia.

This fellowship also includes a capstone project that ties together the topics explored in the programme. Fellows will make the final link to the real world by applying the learnings in a project proposal at the end.

The format for most weeks includes a speaker’s sharing, followed by interactive facilitated discussions amongst the fellows. They will also be supported with additional resources and network building opportunities.
